We are already in March, so I thought I would show what products I used more last month. Here's a list with evereything that stood out to me on February.
Benefit
box’o’powder in Rockateur
This is the
newest addition to the Benefit blush collection. It came out last fall. It is a
beautiful rosy-gold shade, not quite unique but universally-flattering. When I
bought it, I didn’t think I would like it quite as much, but I actually do. It
is shimmery but not glittery. As far as the lasting power, I would say it is
medium (about 4 hours on my cheeks).
Benefit
Hello Flawless! Oxygen Wow foundation
This is
pretty much what I used on my face all month long. It is really lightweight,
blendable and buildable. A little bit goes a long way. I have to set it with a
powder, though, especially in the T-zone. It makes my skin look fresh and
radiant, like I had been sleeping for 10 hours.
Essie in
Parka Perfect
This is
from Essie’s 2013 fall collection. I have been wearing THIS nail polish for two
weeks in a row, which is pretty rare. I love this shade. It’s almost like a
nude muted grayish green that really goes with anything and looks flattering.
Accessorize
Masquerade Palette
I’m usually
skeptical of cloth- and accessory- companies that do make up staff. I have
tried a few in the past and I can’t say I was impressed. Despite that, I went
ahead and bought this palette and I must say I am glad I did! It contains 16
eyeshadows, neutrals and colorful ones, in both matte and shimmery finish. It
also contains 3 blushes, a bronzer and a powder. This is pretty much what I
used for my eye makeup this month.
Too Faced
Primed and Poreless face Primer
This is the
face primer I am currently using. It is silicone-based, skin-colored and it is
supposed to fill the pores. I cannot say that I am really impressed by that ( I
actually prefer Benefit’s Porefessional for that task) but I really enjoy the
way it makes my skin feel. Supersmooth and liquid foundation glides on it very
easily.
Mac Select
cover-up concealer/ corrector
I use this
concealer by MAC for my under-eye area. It gives medium coverage but doesn’t get
into the lines and stays put for at least 5-6 hours. It is not greasy; I recommend
setting with a powder, though.
Essence
Longlasting Lipstick- Natural Beauty
This is the
lipstick I have been using in the morning. It is a rosy shade that goes with
anything. I wouldn’t say it is really longlasting (maximum 3 hours on me) but
for less than 3 Euros, what more could you ask for?
MUFE Aqua
Rouge -8
OMG! The
most beautiful, eye-catching, true red lipstick. It is indeed waterproof (it
won’t fade even when you’re eating or drinking something). It lasts all day
without getting flaky. People always ask me what I have on my lips when I wear
this.
Essence
Kalinka Beauty Blush
This is
part of a recent collection. It looks quite intimidating in the pan, but it
swatches subtle because it is not very pigmented. Beautiful vibrant coral
shade.
Seventeen Longlasting Brow Pencin- 08 Almond
My current favorite eyebrow pencil. It looks super natural and matches my eyebrow color perfectly.
